Twilight Princess is a MUST Play!
Posted by 120911, 105 days ago Dec 31, 1969 18:00
Twilight Princess Game Play: 9 This game was astounding to play. The depth that the story line held was incredible. The Wii controllers worked flawlessly. The amount of material contained within this game blew my mind. Beyond the series of mini-tasks, challenges and boss battles made this game time well spent; and that’s a good thing considering it took me almost 70 hours to complete! Graphics: 8 The graphics of this game were pretty impressive. The textures of the landscapes were very detailed and beautiful to look at. It was obvious that a great deal of thought went into the characteristic development of protagonists and antagonists, alike. As stated in other reviews (R.E Umbrella); I hate spiders . . . and this game has a bunch of little ones and one HUGE one. Let me tell you, the realistic graphics of that guy was way more than I liked dealing with! Sound: 8 The sound effects were effective for their intended purposes. My favorite effects were those of the winds in the dragon’s lair. This effect gave the essence of being high in the air, well above the safety of the ground level. Difficulty: Moderate/Difficult Concept: 10 The game’s concept is one of the more unique and original that I’ve had the opportunity to play. Link starts from a humble beginning (as he usually does), and ends up in some of the most elaborate settings and challenges that could be imagined! The basic premise is to save the surrounding lands from being engulfed in eternal twilight. To succeed in saving the lands, Link must accomplish task and task and defeat some difficult bosses for good to prevail. Overall: 9 Completing this game felt like receiving a breath of fresh air; and that’s a good thing. It was long (but it needed to be); it was difficult in areas (but not outlandish); and the objectives were completely clear, which made for an enjoyable gaming experience. Furthermore, I was able to defeat the final boss (Ganandorf), by stumbling upon someone’s review. They stated that if you kept flinging Link’s fishing pole at Ganandorf, he would become confused, where you could then attack him. This worked without fail, and a difficult task turned into the easiest boss battle of the entire game! Items Obtained: 355 Letters Received: 12 Weapons Gained: 15
