Coming December 11 and costing 800 Microsoft Points the three map Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack is the start of a new line of Halo 3 downloads developed by Bungie and which will be made available on Xbox Live. The Standoff map consists of a valley scattered with entrenchments and boulders to give gamers play of time out in the fresh air while the underground Rat’s Nest map will be a larger underground map suitable for large team style battles. Finally Foundry is set inside a large industrial warehouse where every object-the stairways, walls, bridges and tunnels-can be manipulated to provide a custom gaming experience all inside one map. All three of these maps can be edited in Forge and will be made available for free download Spring of 2008 at which point more new Halo 3 maps will be made available for download.

Also the 101st game to be added to Xbox Live Arcade-an underwater action game titled Undertow-will be uploaded to Xbox Live November 21st at 9 o’clock GTM(2 A.M. PST). More details on Undertow are available at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/u/undertowxboxlivearcade/
