Remember all that downloadable content that was supposed to be exclusive for Xbox 360 and PC? Well, it turns out Bethesda Softworks may have been stretching the truth a bit when they said "exclusive". According to Joystiq, Bethesda Softworks has announced that their three sets of DLC for Fallout 3 (The Pitt, Broken Steel, and Operation: Anchorage) will be heading to the Playstation 3 sometime in the near future.

Also, just in case gamers have already managed to slog through all the post-apocalyptic that Bethesda has managed to conjure up, an additional two sets of downloadable content. Point Lookout (which has you wading through a giant swamp) and Mothership Zeta (where you got abducted by aliens) are set to be released in June for Xbox 360 and PC before making its way to the Playstation 3 sometime after.
Additionally, a Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3 is slated to go on sale in October for the Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3. The disc will ship with the game Fallout 3 and its five downloadable content packs. If you already have Fallout 3 and do not feel like putting your credit card info on the Internet (or really like having physical copies of your games), retailers will also begin selling downloadable content compilations in store.
Fallout 3 was released in 2008 to widespread critical acclaim, accumulating a metacritic rating of 93% and snagging the 2008 GDC Game of the Year award. Its downloadable content, which retails for $10 apiece, has not done quite as well. While the new content provides players with more weapons, more items, and more areas to explore, most critics thought that Fallout 3’s content packages were simply too overpriced for what they offered.
