Just sit down a minute, and remember the early pc gaming days when it was almost impossible to get something to install on your computer right the first time. Well apparently, Terminator: Salvation for PC wanted to remind us of the good times as every person that purchased the game got to experience an awesome error code that prevented the game from being installed.
With all the hassle this has obviously caused consumers of the game, the creators, Evolved Games, decided to issue a recall of the PC version of Terminator: Salvation after the error was reported to them.
One representative from Evolved Games said the error was caused by a “defect that occurred during replication of the PC version of Terminator: Salvation.” That is quite some defect, but not to worry console gamers, Terminator: Salvation is working fine on the consoles. Even more specifically, the representative also went on to say that the console versions are working fine, and they are currently in process of replicating the new, WORKING versions of Terminator PC.
This may be the last straw for PC gamers. Maybe their love for the PC will change to hate dealing with error codes and install problems. Maybe PC gamers will switch over to consoles, but most likely, they will just wait for the working copy as Evolved is working on the replacement plan for all the consumers who purchased the game. The company also announced that more details will be available soon, and TGR will keep you updated with the latest news on the recall and when you might be seeing the game in your hands.
