Rumors have begun to come from all over the place regarding what will be presented at E3 this summer. Half of them make very little sense at all, but some of them are far too interesting to completely ignore. The newest rumors being backed up by Macquarie Research will definitely have your heads turning.
So, what could Macquarie Research be thinking that would have our eyes bugging out? The research company expects Nintendo to bring something big to the table due to the backlash of last year’s “poor presentations” (no announcements for the hardcore) by the video game giant. Macquarie Research expect Nintendo will announce Wii Fit Plus as a bundled package as well as just the software title, but that isn’t the end of Nintendo’s expected presentations. The company also thinks the fans will get what they want to see. Yes, it predicts that Nintendo will present a new Mario or Zelda at E3 redeeming Nintendo for last year’s E3.
For the other companies, the research company has confirmed the rumor that a revamped PSP will be presented by Sony, but also think it won’t be met with good reception due to its price which is supposed to be somewhat higher than it currently is. Macquarie Research also predicted that Microsoft will indeed release the motion sensing camera that lets games receive motions without a controller like the Wii.
With all these predictions, the hype for E3 will continue throughout the next coming weeks. Ahhhh, can’t E3 just get here already?
