No matter the warm fuzzies good acts grant, there’s always allure in the representatives of evil. Whether it be the long, flowing cape and eye-catching helmet shine of Darth Vader, or the bladed helmet and polished wrists of The Shredder, baddies rank among the the more memorable figures in our fictional landscape. Video games have tuned this longing for the inner baddy with the chance to experience our own dark sides. We at TGR contribute to this trend with the creation and release of our own evil iPhone / iPod Touch application – appropriately titled iMEvil.
iMEvil isn’t a game, but an application that allows you to audibly broadcast your inner evildoer. The app contains three pages of sound files, each voiced by David Sobolov at the pinnacle of villany. There’s the always handy diabolical laugh, the historic “make my day,” and other handy phrases for many social situations. With just the press of a button you can inform someone to “come and get it,” perfect for your evil dinner parties, and that “someone must pay,” which is useful for deciding who has to pay the check (obviously not you).
If you’ve ever wanted to step into the evil lifestyle, from crank calls to bizarre conversational interjections, then iMEvil is an invaluable companion. IMEvil is available on the Itunes store for 1.99, it’s worth every penny. Every evil penny.
